Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Chief Engineer to lead our maintenance and engineering operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing all facets of facilities management, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and optimal performance of hotel systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintenance management. Responsibilities Train, supervise, motivate and recognize the maintenance staff. Assist with inventory, ordering, and scheduling. Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance in all areas of the hotel and inspect work completed by other maintenance staff to ensure quality and standards are met. Perform standard electrical wiring repairs as required. Troubleshoot various technical systems and devices such as; HVAC, hot water delivery systems, key card systems, internet equipment, television equipment, etc. Oversee safety programs and key control throughout the hotel. Respond to all guest requests with a sense of urgency and service frame of mind. Supervise service contractors performing contracted work. Sollicit and evaluate bids for contracted work as needed. On-call availability by telephone and/or at times in-person Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Pay:

$52,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
