Randolph, MA We are partnering with a highly regarded organization in the mechanical construction space to identify a Chief Estimator to join their leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key role with a company consistently recognized as a top workplace. Position Overview The Chief Estimator will provide overall leadership and direction for the estimating function, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment across all projects. This role will play a critical part in developing best practices, mentoring the estimating team, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead and continuously develop the estimating team with a strong team-first mindset Oversee the estimating process across all trades Establish and maintain standardized procedures, methods, and processes for: Estimating and scope reviews Customer relationships Training and development Bid proposal preparation Software management Cost analysis Product inventory scheduling and review Collaborate closely with Preconstruction, Operations, and Business Development teams Stay current with industry tools, software, and technological advancements Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Qualifications 5+ years of experience in mechanical estimating Proven leadership experience within an estimating function Strong understanding of mechanical systems Proficiency with estimating software Excellent communication and presentation skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
