The Chief Financial Officer will act as a strategic partner to Andros' North America's CEO, COO and executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing Andros Foods North America's financial strategy, governance, and scalable operational performance. Beyond core financial stewardship, the CFO will build a fast, transparent, and reliable financial operating model that serves as a single source of truth for the business. This role is critical in enabling data‑driven decision making, accelerating insight generation, strengthening margins, and supporting long‑term sustainable growth across the U.S. platform. The CFO will lead Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury and Financing, Insurance, Credit, Collections, Trade Spend, Controllership, and Financial Systems, while partnering closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, and IT. Key Mandate Deliver accurate, timely, and transparent financial information across the organization Enable data‑driven decision making through high‑quality insights and analytics Strengthen governance, internal controls, and financial discipline Protect and expand margins through pricing, profitability, and cost management Integrate acquisitions to support long‑term growth Build scalable systems, processes, and shared services for the U.S. platform
Responsibilities:
Financial Stewardship & Controllership Oversee all accounting, tax, treasury, statutory reporting, and compliance activities Establish, monitor, and enforce robust internal controls, policies, and procedures Lead preparation and coordination of internal and external financial statements Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data Manage audits, insurance, risk management, and asset protection 2. Financial Planning, Reporting & Performance Management Lead annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and strategic financial planning Deliver high quality management reporting, including: Budget vs. actuals with variance analysis / business unit performance / Cash flow and working capital analysis / performance scorecards Improve forecast accuracy and financial predictability Provide scenario modeling and decision support for strategic initiatives 3. Financial Systems, Data & Business Insights Establish and maintain a single source of truth across finance and operations Drive automation, standardization, and simplification of financial processes Ensure data is timely, transparent, and actionable Translate complex financial data into clear insights for senior leadership 4. Commercial Finance, Pricing & Profitability Partner with Sales and Marketing on: Pricing governance and price increase strategies / Trade spend effectiveness and ROI / Customer, channel, and product profitability analysis Support inflation management and margin protection initiatives Provide financial modeling and analytics to support commercial negotiations Identify portfolio optimization opportunities 5. Strategy, Capital Allocation & M&A Partner with the
CEO / COO / HQ
on: 5 year strategic planning and annual operating plans / Capital allocation and investment prioritization / Banking relationships, financing, various financial assistance programs and benefits, and covenant compliance Support post-merger integration Alignment of governance, KPIs, and operating metrics 6. U.S. Governance, Leadership & Shared Services Strengthen financial governance and controls across U.S. operations Ensure consistency and scalability of financial processes across sites Design and develop shared services to improve efficiency, control, and cost structure Balance financial discipline with operational agility and growth
Skills & Attributes:
Strategic, hands‑on finance leader with strong business acumen Excellent analytical ability with a focus on insight and impact Proven transformation and change leader Strong people leader with the ability to attract, develop, and retain talent Effective cross‑functional collaborator and communicator High integrity, sound judgment, and strong ethical standards Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, complex environment
Preferred Experience:
10+ years of of progressive finance and accounting experience Prior CFO, Divisional CFO, or senior finance leadership experience preferred Strong background in accounting and controllership (public accounting and/or large corporate environment) Proven experience building and scaling finance organizations Solid balance sheet, treasury, credit, and cash management experience Experience driving cost reduction and working capital improvement initiatives Hands‑on experience with ERP and financial systems implementations Experience with manufacturing and distribution businesses strongly preferred M&A and post‑merger integration experience required; international experience a plus
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required CPA is preferred MBA and French language skills are a plus Role is primarily Bloomfield, NJ-based office position with approx. 1-week per month of travel required as needed for the business
