The Chief Inspector is responsible to the Quality Manager for the overall operation of the inspection department and delegated to oversee all return to service processes. You will direct, plan and lay out the details of inspection standards, methods, and procedures used by the repair stations in complying with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Manufactures specifications and recommendations. Occasional travel is required to support various QA activities (i.e., training, audit support, functional department meetings/engagements), with occasional extended work hours. FAA Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program - This position is covered under the
PWES FAA
Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program. The selected candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment FAA drug screen. Vision Program - This position is covered under the PWES Vision program, and the selected candidate will be a participant in this program. Your Responsibilities Responsible for performing a variety of duties in supporting & implementing the Pratt & Whitney Engine Services Internal Quality Management System. Ensure compliance to FAA regulations, ISO 9001:2008 and
AS 9100/AS9110
(as revised) requirements. Provide oversight of the PWES and MRT inspection process. Involved in Internal/External Audits. Create, update, and maintain all regulatory documentation. Conduct Risk and Opportunity assessments. Ensure deployment of site Safety Management System (SMS) for compliance to PWES Product Safety and Product Quality requirements. Lead RCCA investigations. Maintain Quality Metrics and KPIs.
