The right person for this role is a sharp, proactive generalist who thrives on bringing order to complexity — someone who can sit across from a visionary leader, translate ideas into action, and then follow through until the work is done. You will serve as the connective tissue between the CEO and the rest of the organization — capturing direction, coordinating execution, and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks when the CEO moves from one priority to the next. What You'll Do Meeting Support & Idea Capture Attend key meetings (or debrief immediately after) to capture decisions, next steps, and the CEO's vision for how things should unfold Translate verbal direction and ideas into written tasks, project briefs, or action items in Asana and SharePoint Sit alongside the CEO in structured working sessions to talk through priorities and translate them into executable plans Task Management & Follow-Through Monitor Asana, email, and Teams for open items and proactively flag what needs attention Either execute assigned tasks directly or draft clear instructions for team members to carry them out Follow up with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO to ensure timely completion Receive direction, act on it, and return to the CEO with progress — incorporating feedback well and adjusting course without frustration Communications & Coordination Draft, review, and send professional correspondence — emails, memos, meeting summaries — on behalf of the CEO Coordinate between internal departments (healthcare, real estate, construction, asset management) and external parties Manage and prioritize inbound communications, helping the CEO focus on what matters most Document & Project Support Assist with review, organization, and light preparation of legal and financial documents (coordination and tracking, not legal advice) Maintain organized filing and version control of key documents in SharePoint Support project coordination across multiple active initiatives simultaneously Who You Are You are a natural executor — you hear what needs to happen and you make it happen You are comfortable operating in ambiguity; you don't need a perfect brief to take the first step You are a strong communicator — both in writing and in real-time conversation You take feedback graciously and close the loop — when given direction or a correction, you follow through cleanly You are resourceful, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities across different industries You can hold confidentiality with the utmost discretion — you will have access to sensitive business, legal, and financial information You are energized by variety, not paralyzed by it Background & Experience There is no single career path that leads to this role. We are open to candidates with backgrounds in: Executive assistance or chief of staff experience supporting senior leadership Legal support (paralegal experience is a plus, particularly for document coordination) Project management, operations, or business administration Real estate, construction, or healthcare administration More important than your background is your ability to absorb information quickly, take ownership, and operate with good judgment in a fast-moving environment. Tools & Skills Microsoft Teams — for daily communication and collaboration Asana — for task and project management (experience preferred; willingness to learn required) Microsoft SharePoint — for document management and organization Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume inbox and task list What We Offer A front-row seat to a diversified, entrepreneurial organization across multiple industries Direct exposure to executive decision-making, deal-making, and operational leadership A collaborative environment where feedback is given constructively and growth is supported Compensation of $60,000
  • $85,000 based on experience Opportunity to grow significantly in scope and responsibility over time A Note to Candidates We are looking for someone who is genuinely excited about this kind of work — not just the title, but the day-to-day reality of supporting a busy executive across a wide range of topics.
The pace is fast, the subject matter is varied, and the expectations are high. But so is the opportunity. If you are the kind of person who reads a long to-do list and feels energized rather than overwhelmed, we want to hear from you.
