The ReThink Team Does it Fit for You? The Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist on the ReThink team sees patients in both the outpatient and partial hospitalization setting and the care they provide includes: Evaluating patients' mental health status through interviews, observations, tests and medical histories; Developing comprehensive treatment plans in conjunction with other healthcare professionals; Prescribing and managing medications; Providing psychotherapy services; Determining appropriate level of care specifically related to eating disorder treatment as well as writing admission orders for partial hospitalization as appropriate; Collaborating with a broader team of physicians and advanced practice providers, registered dietitian nutritionists, psychologists and mental health providers as well as nurses to assess and adjust treatment plans; Documenting and maintaining patient records; Staying up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in child psychiatry including eating disorder diagnosis and treatment; Communicating with families to educate and inform them about their child's condition and treatment plan.

Education / Experience

/ Certifications Medical degree (MD or DO) and completed residency in Psychiatry; Board certified or board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry; Valid and current state medical license; Strong knowledge in child psychiatry principles, procedures and techniques ; Interest in eating disorders and in making the hard easier.
