Child Care Worker

God's Little Blessings Daycare, Pinconning, is seeking motivated individual(s) to serve as an assistant caregiver. Must be able to mentally and physically care for children ages 0-12 years old in a licensed group home daycare. Must enjoy working with children and be willing to provide consistent, loving, developmentally appropriate care. 20-30 hours per week. Experience preferred; training available.

Duties include:

Maintain a clean, safe, fun, developmentally appropriate environment for all children Monitor learning activities for indoor/outdoor play Effectively meet the needs of children of varying development Prepare fresh meals and snacks Diaper changes and toilet assistance Cleaning and sanitizing of work environment

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age Able to pass a background check Able to pass a Medical Examination including negative TB Test CPR required within 90 days Ongoing training required Must be available Monday through Friday between the hours of 5:30am and 9:00pm. Shifts vary week to week. Applicant must have strong verbal communication skills; be caring, compassionate, and patient with children and co-workers. Must possess the ability to anticipate and problem solve "two-steps ahead" as well as have the physical stamina required to keep up with infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
