Childcare Facility Cleaner

Summary Heritage Child Development Center is seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Childcare Facility Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our children, families, and staff. This part‑time role is essential to supporting children's health and daily learning by ensuring classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and shared spaces are sanitized and well‑maintained. We offer flexible scheduling, preferably during the center's off hours, and will work with the right candidate to create a routine that fits their availability while ensuring the facility remains clean and ready for children to learn and play in a healthy environment. Duties Clean and sanitize bathrooms Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, hallways, and common areas Maintain cleanliness of entryways and high‑traffic areas Empty trash Carpet cleaning as needed Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces as needed Clean high-touch surfaces Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and tissues Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines required for early childhood settings Report any maintenance or safety concerns Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly Requirements Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable working in a childcare environment Must pass background checks required for childcare licensing Nice To Haves Prior cleaning experience, especially in schools or childcare settings
