Childcare Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a fun and energetic meal prep and kitchen manager for our food program. No need to worry, there is no heavy cooking needed here! This position is designed for detail through portioning/prepping meals for young children. Two meals and two snacks are designed by our Expert Dietitian then served daily by our team. The most important characteristic of our team is that we LOVE working together to support families. Creche Day School is a place for people to work better, together. We treat each other and the children we serve as family. This requires us to be self-starters, effectively communicate and work together.

Full Time Position:

The hours are Monday-Friday 6:45am-3:00pm

Desired Qualities and Requirements:

• Background in prepping meals/snacks for large quantities of people.
• Multi-tasking and time management skills are a must.
• Ability to lift/carry 25 pounds
• Respect for young children, their teachers, and families is critical.
• An intuitive understanding of healthy eating and food allergies
• Willingness to wash dishes (via two mechanical dishwashers and one 3-compartment sink)
• Skills in co-planning, inventory, and efficiency are required.
• Collaborative spirit as to work as a team with our teachers
• Strong communication, and flexibility are key; cleanliness are a must
• Ability to pass KBI background check, TB Test, and drug screenings.
