Childcare Teacher

Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical development, including Montessori methods and standardized testing preparation Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate classroom management strategies, behavior management techniques, and innovative teaching methods Support children with special education needs and early intervention programs to ensure inclusive learning experiences Foster a nurturing environment by managing classroom dynamics, encouraging positive interactions, and maintaining discipline through effective behavior management Engage children in activities that promote childhood development, including physical education, arts, music, and literacy education Monitor individual progress through assessments and documentation to tailor instruction and support ongoing learning goals Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists to ensure comprehensive child welfare and educational success Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is preferred Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care, childhood development stages, and classroom management techniques Experience developing curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, and Montessori methodologies is highly desirable Familiarity with working with students with diverse needs, including special education or early intervention programs Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Proven ability to plan lessons for various age groups while maintaining a safe and supportive environment Previous experience in private schools or daycare centers is advantageous Join us in shaping young minds through energetic teaching practices that inspire curiosity and growth!

Pay:

$14.00 - $19.00 per hour
