This includes Sunday School programming, Wednesday evening activities, and all other children's events. Responsibilities and Duties Choose, Plan and Implement curriculum for Children's Sunday School, Sunday morning Children's Moment, and Vacation Bible School. Recruit and train volunteers to help with children's programs and events, utilizing Ministry Safe. Create a budget for children's educational activities and supply all items necessary for these activities. Organize, plan, and lead all children's programs/ seasonal events such as: Easter/ Spring Events Vacation Bible School Blessing of the Back Packs Boofest Saturday with Santa Assist all ministry staff with events, when needed. Attend bi-weekly staff meetings. Assist with Ministry Safe Training. Assist with recruiting and hiring nursery workers. Assist with other tasks as needed. Organizing - people, materials, and resources effectively and efficiently Planning - Accurately assesses the length and difficulty of a project; sets objectives, and goals. Managing Vision and Purpose of St. John's GMC Managing conflict Qualifications Computer skills necessary to produce correspondence, bulletins, Facebook, Instagram, website, newsletters, and church documents. Must possess the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Must be able to work on a team of people working toward a common goal Must exhibit a personable and friendly disposition High School degree or GED equivalent. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift equivalent of 30 lbs.

Pay:

$25,000.00 - $31,000.00 per year
