Duties Conduct comprehensive survival swim lessons for children and adults, focusing on water safety, rescue techniques, and self-rescue skills Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate swimming fun while learning. Monitor students' progress closely, providing constructive feedback and behavior management to foster confidence and discipline Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed during lessons, including vigilant lifeguard practices and emergency preparedness Maintain a clean, organized pool environment and ensure all equipment is safe and properly maintained Engage with students using sports coaching techniques such as basketball or cheerleading drills to promote teamwork, coordination, and motivation Collaborate with team members to develop new instructional methods that improve water safety education Skills Proven lifeguard experience with strong water rescue skills Background in sports coaching or physical education instruction Experience teaching children or working with students in a childcare or educational setting Knowledge of martial arts such as Karate or Judo, with the ability to incorporate these techniques into swim instruction Skilled in swimming techniques across various levels of proficiency Ability to manage behavior effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment Familiarity with climbing or gym activities that promote strength and confidence in water-related skills Excellent communication skills for working with diverse learners of all ages and backgrounds Join us as a Survival Swim Instructor where your energy fuels safe water adventures!
