This is production-driven heavy civil work, not light residential digging. We need someone who can operate cleanly, think ahead, work safely around crews, and help keep the job moving. If you take pride in precision excavation, trench work, and running equipment efficiently, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Excavation for sewer, storm, water, and utility installation Trenching, bedding, backfill, and grading support Loading trucks and managing material movement on site Working around trench boxes, shoring systems, and active crews Digging safely around existing utilities and tight site conditions Supporting pipe crews with accurate excavation and grade awareness The Type of Operator We're Looking For Understands production and job flow Operates efficiently without tearing up the site Works well with laborers, pipe crews, and foremen Maintains awareness of safety, trench conditions, and surroundings Takes ownership of equipment and daily work Preferred Experience Heavy civil, utilities, excavation, or wastewater projects Excavators of multiple sizes Fine grading and precision trenching Reading plans and working from grade stakes or lasers Shoring systems, trench boxes, or deep utility installs What We Offer Long-term infrastructure work Strong crew environment and field leadership Opportunity to grow with a fast-moving civil contractor Consistent pipeline of utility and excavation projects Position Details Full-time Meridian, ID In-person work Pay depends on experience and capability
