What You'll Do Review and interpret policy coverage to determine whether the claim is payable under the policy. Correspond with insured's, claimants, medical specialists, agents, and witnesses to compile information. Take accurate and detailed statements from all involved parties. Calculate and approve payment of claims within a certain monetary limit. Negotiate and settle property losses with little oversight. Identify recovery and subrogation potential and handle according to company procedural guidelines. What We're Looking For Possess and maintain Property & Casualty Adjuster License issued by the Texas Department of Insurance High school Diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience in handling both Bodily Injury and Property Damage personal auto claims Wields exceptional oral and written communication skills Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English), but not required Strong negotiation skills Strong ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with accuracy. Key Qualities for Success Demonstrates a calm, professional, and respectful demeanor in stressful situations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage difficult interactions calmly and professionally (de-escalation) while prioritizing customer experience. Organized and very detail-oriented. Collaborative team player with a continuous learning mindset to grow in this industry.
