Landscape Maintenance Foreman

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead our outdoor maintenance team in creating and sustaining beautiful, healthy landscapes. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and general gardening tasks Oversee lawn care routines such as fertilization, aeration, weed control, and pest management to maintain lush and healthy turf Lead landscaping projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget and safety guidelines Manage irrigation systems—installation, repair, and maintenance—to ensure optimal water usage and landscape health Conduct tree care activities including pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and growth Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and operated safely by team members Provide training and mentorship to crew members on horticultural best practices, safety procedures, and customer service standards Skills Extensive experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping techniques Proven supervising experience leading outdoor crews or teams in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of lawn care practices including fertilization, aeration, pest control, and mowing techniques Familiarity with construction activities related to landscape projects such as planting beds or hardscaping elements Skilled in tree care practices—pruning, health assessment, removal—and understanding of arboriculture principles Knowledge of irrigation systems—installation, troubleshooting, repairs—ensuring efficient water management Passion for gardening and horticulture with an eye for detail in maintaining aesthetic appeal Demonstrated leadership qualities—ability to motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and uphold safety standards Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and vendors Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions Join us to lead vibrant outdoor spaces that inspire beauty and sustainability!
