COPY LINK link Adecco is hiring for a Clamp Truck Operator in North Andover, MA! This is a temp to perm opportunity on 1st shift. Pay rate: $21-24 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 6am-430pm Key Responsibilities

Safe Equipment Operation:

Utilize a clamp truck to lift and transport large, heavy, or delicate materials (e.g., 4,000+ lbs paper rolls).

Loading/Unloading:

Efficiently load and unload trailers and rail cars, often handling non-palletized freight.

Inventory & Staging:

Stage materials in designated areas and use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory, ensuring high accuracy.

Damage Prevention:

Adjust clamp pressure to avoid damaging fragile materials while securing them against falling.

Maintenance:

Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of the clamp truck, reporting malfunctions to supervisors.

Safety Compliance:

Ad to all OSHA andpany safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment. Qualifications

Experience:

Previous experience operating a clamp truck or industrial forklift is required

Skills:

Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Physical Abilities:

Must be able to sit or stand for long hours and potentially lift up to 50-70 lbs.

Certification:

Forklift certification or the ability to be certified is usually necessary.

Pay Details:
