Drivers to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks and trailers. Your expertise in driving dump trucks, will help keep our operations running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to a fast-paced paving company that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism while keeping family life in mind. •Please note, this a working position. You will not be sitting in the truck watching your crew members work. There is PLENTY of time driving and we do not need you to over work yourself, we just respect our guys too much to allow them to be watched by a co-worker while they work. • We also offer paid holidays. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A or B commercial dump trucks. Load and unload equipment efficiently and securely. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Manage documentation related to materials, such as receipts and load tickets as well as inspection reports. Communicate effectively with foreman and owner. Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle and ensure adherence to company safety standards at all times. Requirements Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements for the type of vehicle operated. Air brakes and manual transmission. Proven experience driving a variety of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, or dump trucks. Comfortable operating manual transmission vehicles with a strong understanding of truck mechanics. Experience in equipment delivery, route driving, load & unload procedures. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo handling. Strong communication skills and a commitment to punctuality and safety compliance. Join us as a Class

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
