Youth Development Staff I & II (PT)

Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage adolescents and young adults in a drop-in program with 75 daily attendees. Provide age-appropriate and socially interactive activities. Recruit, mentor, and encourage youth participation in structured programs, groups, and case management. Notify clients of upcoming activities. Record attendance, report activities, monitor premises, assist with food distribution, and organize transportation. Drive company-owned vehicles.

Daily Activities:

Recreation, video and board games, field trips, internships.

Structured programs:

Health/Wellness, Career Readiness, Creative Leadership groups.

Schedule:

Part-time shifts: 2 pm - 7 pm and 5 pm - 10 pm (some weekends required).

Potential for full-time:

1:30 pm - 10 pm.

Requirements:

Experience necessary. Background check. Valid MA driver's license. Associates Degree and on the job experience in a community-based after school program preferred. Valid MA Driver's License required.

Job Type:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
