Pizzeria sandwich and grill cook

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Grill Cook / Sandwich Maker to join our pizzeria team. The ideal candidate is fast, organized, team-oriented, and experienced in preparing high-quality sandwiches and grill items in a busy kitchen environment. Responsibilities include food prep, cooking, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and efficiently- Grill Cook / Sandwich Maker Responsibilities Prepare sandwiches, wraps, paninis, burgers, steaks, chicken, and other grill items according to house recipes and quality standards Operate grill, flat top, fryer , and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Prep ingredients daily, including slicing meats, cheeses, vegetables, and stocking sandwich stations Maintain consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation during busy service periods Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines at all times Keep kitchen, grill area, prep stations, and storage areas clean and organized throughout shifts Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock items to management Receive and properly store deliveries using FIFO (first in, first out) procedures Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail Assist with pizza toppings, fryer items, salads, or other kitchen duties as needed Ensure all orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner Maintain a positive attitude and work cooperatively with kitchen and front counter staff Open and close kitchen stations according to daily procedures Follow all company policies and safety procedures Preferred Qualifications Previous grill, deli, sandwich shop, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred Ability to multitask and work under pressure during peak hours Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
