Class A CDL Driver

Class A CDL Driver North Franklin, CT 06254 $29 an hour - Part-time $29 an hour - Part-time Nursery in southeastern CT is looking to hire a FT seasonal CDL Class A driver(s) for our upcoming shipping season. Job will last approximately 4 months. Great job for anyone who is retired. Seeing we are a farm we are agriculturally exempt from needing to run ELD's but use paper logs(when needed). Interested individual(s) should have at least 1 year of driving experience. Also must be able to pass a DOT drug and alcohol test. Load handling is required. Job will require drivers to be able to handle physical labor. Material is loaded onto metal rolling racks that are offloaded at the customers locations. Most deliveries, not all, leave the nursery anywhere from 3:30-5:30 A.M except for the Home Depot deliveries which leave much earlier. Deliveries made to Home Depots and Garden Centers throughout New England. Drivers must also be able to deal with customers in a friendly and cordial manner.
