Job DescriptionJOB DETAILSBase pay rate is $28.00 per hour
Safely assist in the unloading of the product using a Moffett to customer's location and/ or return productsDeliver material in "route truck/multi-drop" fashion to destinations in accordance with Federal regulationsApply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speed in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or in tight loading dock areasMaintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations including driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage records, and other records required by lawPerform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicleAble to answer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, packaging, and material content. If unable to answer specific questions, direct customer to appropriate contactPerform pre & post-trip inspections thoroughlyMaintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipmentImmediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance neededActively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines2-3 overnight runs per weekMay perform other duties as assignedQualificationsValid Class A Commercial Driver's LicenseHigh School diploma or GED requiredHave an acceptable accident and moving violation Motor Vehicle Record2 years of previous tractor-trailer flatbed driving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)Valid Medical CardMust be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physicalMust be able to work independentlyAbility to work effectively with people in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work in degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerableAttention and care required to prevent injury to others when performing workAbility to stoop, bend, stand for long periods of timeAbility to maintain a constant state of alertness and in a safe mannerSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday through FridayDUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESThe Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our customers, distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service.
