Class A Driver

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class A Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on time. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, and has a strong background in truck driving with experience handling various types of loads. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial trucks, including those with manual transmissions, across assigned routes. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as electric Pallet Jack or roll-off trucks when necessary. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Assist in route planning to optimize delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction. Shifts will vary based on dispatch needs and delivery schedules. This position primarily involves overnight driving, with routes and start times determined by dispatch and operational demands. Flexibility is required, as schedules may change based on customer needs, route assignments, and business volume. Skills Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid Class A license. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial vehicles. Excellent route driving skills with the ability to adapt to changing schedules or conditions. Good communication skills for coordinating deliveries and reporting issues.
