Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class B Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate commercial vehicles with a focus on delivering freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. Your responsibilities will include handling various types of cargo, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment. Responsibilities Safely operate Class B commercial trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, across assigned routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit Drive a variety of truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers as needed for different deliveries Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules and minimize delays Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal and state regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve any issues promptly Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving operations Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles with confidence and precision Knowledge of freight handling procedures for various cargo types such as refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and roll-off containers Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other specialized equipment when required Familiarity with route planning software and GPS navigation tools for efficient route management Strong understanding of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards Excellent driving record with a commitment to safety and compliance with transportation regulations Join our team as a Class B Truck Driver where your skills will drive success!
