Job Description
Job Summary Are you passionate about restoring and preserving the timeless beauty of classic automobiles? We're seeking a dedicated Classic Car Technician to bring expert craftsmanship, enthusiasm, and precision to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vintage vehicles, ensuring each car meets the highest standards of quality and authenticity. Your expertise will help enthusiasts and collectors keep their cherished classics in pristine condition, delivering exceptional service with energy and care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections to assess the condition of vintage vehicles and identify necessary repairs or restorations Perform detailed mechanical repairs, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components specific to classic cars Restore bodywork and paint finishes to original specifications, maintaining authenticity and quality standards Source and select appropriate parts, accessories, and materials suitable for vintage vehicles Document repair processes thoroughly, including before-and-after photos and detailed reports for client records Collaborate with clients to understand their restoration goals and provide expert advice on maintenance and upgrades Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times Requirements Proven experience working with classic or vintage cars, with a strong understanding of their unique systems and components Strong mechanical skills combined with knowledge of automotive electrical systems specific to older models Ability to perform precision bodywork, painting, and restoration techniques with attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently Strong communication skills to explain technical details clearly to clients and team members Certification or training in automotive technology or restoration is preferred but not mandatory Willingness to stay current with industry best practices for vintage vehicle restoration and maintenance Join us in celebrating automotive history by bringing passion and expertise to every project.
