Job description: As a result of our continued growth, we are currently seeking a qualified, experienced, professional Home Care Scheduler (scheduling of home care employees, not appointment setting) . Qualifications/Requirements:
Caring, committed attitude toward the senior care profession Willingness and ability to participate in an on-call staff rotation Willingness and ability to work 40 hours per week Current, valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to pass background check Ability to pass driver's history background check Ability to pass drug test
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Above all, the selected candidate must be a team player, willing to support and communicate daily with other staff Self-driven professional, capable of making independent decisions that reflect logic, reasoning and Company values Present a professional appearance daily, with consistent work ethic and timely arrivals to the workplace Performs a variety of administrative duties in support of human resources efforts, to include but not limited do, employee scheduling, instruction, coaching and directing Utilizes and supports HR Information Systems, employee/client records management, payroll data support entry, and facilitates employee assignments Performs a variety of operational support to the Senior Helpers Team, including but not limited to, scheduling, recordkeeping, professional client services and employee support Completes data entry in required scheduling systems Shares in and performs On-Call duties on behalf of the Company, which includes scheduling of Caregiver staff and all associated recordkeeping and data entry facets of the role ( additional compensation included for these duties ) Other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous home care staff scheduling experience strongly preferred 1-2 years of office administration experience preferred 1-year scheduling experience in home care or related business sector preferred Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills Strong technical skills, including intermediate or above experience level in Microsoft Office applications Strong and effective time management Ability to manage and maintain confidential information and records Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive interaction with employees and customers Detail oriented - communication and documentation of interactions with both clients and employees Identifies and implements innovative and creative solutions to resolve workforce challenges High school diploma or General Education Diploma; some college coursework or Associates/Bachelors degree preferred Senior Helpers delivers quality, compassionate and highly individualized care and support that helps people in need of assistance stay at home - all while maximizing their dignity, privacy and independence.
