Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of sanitation. Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms efficiently. Maintain floors through specialized care such as carpet cleaning, polishing, and floor waxing to ensure durability and appearance. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during residential or commercial cleaning visits. Manage custodial responsibilities in hotel or hospitality settings, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are spotless and well-maintained. Follow proper safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe working environment. Assist with janitorial tasks like waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms and common areas. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience is highly preferred, especially within commercial or hospitality environments. Experience with residential cleaning tasks including house cleaning, laundry, and basic housekeeping management is advantageous. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning, polishing, and floor waxing enhances your suitability for this role. Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Previous hotel or hospitality housekeeping experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to deliver exceptional guest service. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively; certifications in carpet cleaning or floor care are beneficial. Strong customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude will help you excel in this energetic role.
