Cleaning Associate

This is a 3-day per week position Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for approxiamately 3 hours each night. Hours are 5:00 pm to around 8:00 pm. There is an opportunity for more hours if everything works out at this jobsite. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a medical environment, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and safe for clients and employees. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team is mandatory to be successful at this position. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Using a low-contamination disposable cloth system. Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness. Using a low-contamination disposable mop system. Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents. Dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns professionally. Being polite and respectful, whenever in a client's facility is necessary. Being on your phone while on the clock isn't permitted, because our clients do not want to hear personal conversations. Phone calls are for break times only!!! Playing loud music is not tolerated either. Headphones or earbuds are needed for music playing while working. Experience Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus. •Highest hourly pay is for candidates who can run floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and do floor work beyond mopping and vacuuming.•Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team setting. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company and client policy.
