Position Summary The Clerk is responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering telephones, relaying messages, receiving and/or conveying information, preparing summaries, sorting and matching documents, filing records, collecting and distributing mail, and routine inventory and supply organization and distribution. This clerk performs courier duties, documentation of specimens/routes, prepares requisitions and/or performs requisition scanning, specimen achieving, as applicable. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job Performs clerical duties of moderate scope and complexity. Duties may include such tasks as receiving and conveying information, scanning of requisitions, preparation of summaries, sorting and matching documents, filing records, collecting and distributing mail, and routine inventory and supply organization and distribution Organizes and files/requisitions/specimens/results accordingly. Assists with the organization, inventory and distribution of supplies. Opens, sorts, and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail as needed. Answers telephones, direct calls, faxes reports and takes messages. Reviews records, files and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests. Performs other duties as assigned. •Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements Qualifications/Work Experience:
2+ years of clerical experience, healthcare experience preferred. Must have Ability to type 35-40 WPM.Education/Licensure/Certification:
