Someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships, solving problems, talking strategy, and helping clients navigate technology without turning every conversation into a buzzword-filled corporate therapy session. This role is perfect for someone who gets real satisfaction from helping clients feel organized, supported, and confident that somebody competent is paying attention to their technology environment. You'll work closely with our clients, collaborate with our internal teams, and become one of the people clients trust when things get complicated, confusing, or mildly on fire. If phrases like "let's think this through" and "there's probably a better long-term solution here" sound exciting instead of exhausting, you're already ahead. If you enjoy technology, communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and the occasional sarcastic comment during a meeting — you may have just found your people. Now, I know what you are thinking — this is probably one of those jobs where your entire life becomes calendar invites, awkward status meetings, and updating CRM notes nobody will ever read again. Somewhere along the way, you slowly lose the ability to speak like a normal human being and start saying things like "quick sync," "bandwidth," and "circling back" without irony. Well, I knew you would jump to that totally reasonable conclusion, so my response is this: We're a Managed Service Provider (MSP), which means businesses trust us to help run, support, secure, and improve their technology environments. The Account Executive role is about building strong relationships, leading meaningful conversations, helping clients make smart technology decisions, and coordinating with our technical teams to keep things moving in the right direction. This is not a commissioned sales role. You are not expected to cold call strangers, pressure people into buying things they don't need, or magically become "best friends" with someone after one networking lunch and a handshake that lasted slightly too long. You'll spend your time working with existing and prospective clients, helping organizations plan for the future, discussing security and infrastructure strategy, reviewing ongoing initiatives, and occasionally helping clients understand why ignoring technology problems for three years was maybe not the best long-term strategy. It's not just a water cooler, we have an entire kitchen. And honestly, our snack game has reached a level that probably deserves its own budget meeting. Why we will want to hire you: You live in the Southern California area. Our corporate office is in Cypress. We are currently only considering local candidates. You communicate well. Like, actually well. Not "I once gave a presentation in college" well. You'll be leading meetings, presenting recommendations, discussing budgets, explaining security concerns, and helping clients understand complicated technical conversations without sounding robotic, condescending, or like you swallowed a cybersecurity blog. You are comfortable talking to people in a calm, professional, relationship-building way. Clients should walk away from conversations with you feeling more organized and less stressed — not like they just survived an escape room built entirely out of IT terminology. You are organized enough to juggle multiple clients, ongoing initiatives, follow-ups, recommendations, renewals, and strategic conversations without everything collapsing into complete disorder. You know how to keep things moving without relying entirely on sticky notes and pure adrenaline. You are vary detail oriented and so detail oriented that punctuation and grammar and spelling mistakes make you cringe and you canot stand it when sentences are butchered and continue to run on like they will never end. You'll hopefully be so obsessed with the details that you caught all the mistakes in this bullet point as you read it. You are interested in technology, but you do not need to be the person rebuilding servers in a freezing cold server room at 2AM questioning every decision that led you there. You should, however, be comfortable discussing cybersecurity, infrastructure, IT strategy, business operations, and technology planning with confidence and curiosity. You are ready to jump into the MSP world. It moves fast. There are a lot of moving pieces. Some days are smooth, some days are weird, and occasionally someone unplugs the wrong thing and suddenly everybody has a meeting.
