Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Client Care Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Psychiatric Department. This role serves as a key administrative and operational liaison between clients, psychiatric providers, clinical staff, and outside providers to ensure high-quality, coordinated care for individuals receiving mental health and substance use treatment services. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, demonstrates strong communication and multitasking abilities, and is passionate about supporting both clients and clinical teams. A working knowledge of psychiatric medications, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities Conduct intake processes for clients across all levels of care Schedule and coordinate initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments Communicate with clients and clinical staff on behalf of psychiatric providers Coordinate and process urine drug screens for clients at all levels of care Complete weekly audits of urine drug screens to ensure compliance and accuracy Request, coordinate, and arrange delivery of client medications Collaborate with outside providers retained by clients during treatment Assist Case Management and psychiatric providers with Short-Term Disability and Family Medical Leave documentation Maintain departmental logs, trackers, and compliance-related documentation Support facility standards related to safety, organization, and infection control Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a Medical Assistant, Care Coordinator, Care Manager, or in a similar healthcare support role preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines Professional demeanor, appearance, and communication style Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment Resourceful, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of psychiatric medications and behavioral health settings preferred What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and committed to supporting high-quality client care.
