You will work closely with providers, medical assistants, administrative staff, and leadership while serving as a key point of contact for team support and clinic operations. Position Overview The Clinical Assistant Manager will oversee and support the daily workflows of one clinic site while assisting in the management and development of a team of approximately six Medical Assistants. This role requires someone who is hands-on, adaptable, and willing to step in wherever support is needed to ensure efficient clinic operations and excellent patient satisfaction. You will also participate in management meetings and collaborate directly with the Practice Manager on workflow improvements, staff support, and operational initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support and help lead a team of approximately 6 Medical Assistants Assist with staff guidance, workflow coordination, and daily operations Serve as a point of contact for team support and escalation assistance Help de-escalate patient concerns and ensure a positive patient experience Oversee workflows and operational efficiency for one clinic location Jump in operationally and clinically as needed to support the team Collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to improve workflows Participate in management and operational meetings Identify areas for improvement and contribute innovative ideas Assist in maintaining high standards of patient care and service Support both back-office and front-office coordination when necessary Report directly to the Clinic Practice Manager Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required 3+ years of experience preferred Strong understanding of: Back-office clinical workflows Front-office operations Insurance verification and eligibility processes Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude, professionalism, and initiative-driven mindset What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Is motivated and eager to grow within healthcare leadership Demonstrates strong leadership and accountability Can effectively support and guide a clinical team Brings thoughtful ideas and solutions to improve operations Leads with professionalism, teamwork, and compassion Thrives in dynamic and evolving environments Growth Opportunities At AVITA MD, we value long-term growth and leadership development.
