Job Description
Join our Clinician Team as a Clinical Audiologist! Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Audiologist, where your expertise will directly improve patients' quality of life through precise hearing assessments and tailored treatment plans. In this vital role, you will conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, provide expert hearing care, and collaborate with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Perform detailed diagnostic evaluations of hearing and balance functions using advanced audiological equipment. Conduct specialized assessments for pediatric and adult patients, including speech audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, and tympanometry. Collaborate with otolaryngologists and other healthcare providers to interpret test results and develop effective treatment strategies. Educate patients and their families about hearing health, treatment options, and device usage with clear communication and compassionate care. Fit, program, and troubleshoot hearing aids and assistive listening devices to meet individual patient needs. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems and ensure compliance with clinical protocols. Support clinic operations by organizing appointments, managing inventory of audiological supplies, and adhering to aseptic techniques during procedures. Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiology from an accredited program; Doctor of Audiology (Au.
D.) preferred. Proven experience in pediatric audiology, otolaryngology clinics, or hospital settings demonstrating diagnostic proficiency. Strong knowledge of physiology related to auditory and vestibular systems, anatomy, and medical terminology. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting purposes. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, families, and healthcare teams. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to educate colleagues or supervise junior staff when needed.
