Job Description

Badlands Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a Clinical Director in Dickinson, ND. Sign on Bonus up to $18,000 Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover. As Clinical Director, you will provide strategic leadership for the Behavioral Health Clinic's clinical services, ensuring the highest quality care and outcomes for individuals and families served. You will champion the implementation of evidence-based and best clinical practices, translating standards into consistent, measurable performance across programs. This role is responsible for overseeing the organization, delivery, and continuous improvement of clinical services, ensuring alignment with person-centered, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed principles. You will be expected to establish clear clinical expectations, monitor outcomes, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional excellence. In addition, you would be expected be expected to, in collaboration with other agency leaders, to cultivate and strengthen community partnerships to ensure a coordinated, comprehensive continuum of care within the region, advancing access, integration, and system-wide impact. You will need to have knowledge of rehabilitative service models as well as integrated, person centered, care. Previous supervisory experience will be beneficial. To be considered for the Clinical Director position, you are required to have a master's degree in social work, counseling, or any other master's degree approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners, and ND licensure as a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor); OR a Doctorate in Psychology and licensure as a Psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners. This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
