Clinical Faculty - Part Time

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Faculty member to join our Clinical faculty team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in higher education teaching, with a passion for fostering student learning and engagement. This position involves developing and delivering curriculum, utilizing learning technology, and providing support to students in their academic journey. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum that meets educational standards and student needs. Deliver high-quality instruction in a variety of medical/surgical specialties, ensuring clarity and comprehension. Utilize various learning technologies to enhance the educational experience for students. Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and feedback, providing constructive guidance for improvement. Stay current with advancements in adult education methodologies, and clinical research to inform teaching practices. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and program improvement initiatives. Maintain an inclusive teaching environment that supports diverse learning styles and backgrounds. Requirements Master's in Nursing with a valid Ohio Nursing license. Experience in higher education teaching, particularly in clinical settings. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices. Familiarity with curriculum development processes and best practices in adult education. Proficiency in using learning technology to enhance instructional delivery. Ability to create a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students effectively.
