Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A hybrid clinical and staff pharmacist role is available at a medical center in State College, PA, offering a blend of patient-focused clinical duties and essential staffing responsibilities. This position involves approximately 60% clinical work dedicated to population health and ambulatory care, particularly managing medication regimens for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes. The remaining 40% includes staffing duties within the hospital pharmacy. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist passionate about expanding clinical services. While the hospital is smaller compared to others in the region, there is strong commitment from leadership to grow the clinical pharmacy program. This role has the potential to evolve into a full-time clinical position as the program develops.
Location:
State College, Pennsylvania Schedule:
Variable days and afternoons, primarily day shifts; 8-hour shifts
Systems:
Meditech pharmacy system
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania Experience in ambulatory care or inpatient pharmacy settings preferred Completion of a pharmacy residency is highly desirable Strong interest in patient-centered care and clinical program development
