Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders with accuracy and clinical insight Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to optimize pharmacotherapy Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments Utilize Allscripts/Paragon order entry systems efficiently Operate Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid pharmacist license appropriate for the location Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred Familiarity with Allscripts and Paragon systems Knowledge of Pyxis or similar automation systems Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple sites

Work primarily in the Los Angeles area with potential travel to nearby sister hospitals within 10-15 miles This position is month-to-month with an initial 8-week booking and covers licensed beds totaling 117, with an average daily census of 44 patients.
