Clinical Research Assistant Huntsville, AL 35801 Full-time Full-time Apogee Clinical Reseach is growing by filling a Clinical Research Assistant position with an extremely detail-oriented, highly motivated, well-organized, and personable individual. Are you someone with a medical background who is looking for a future in clinical research? To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of comparable or related medical and/or laboratory experience, have strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and be an excellent communicator and team player. Extensive knowledge of Medical Terminology is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook are required. You must be someone who is able to work in a team that values communication, embraces challenge, and continuous improvement. We're looking for someone who works hard and loves to have fun, is fast-paced and displays a can-do attitude. If this is you and you can prove it, you could be a great fit for our team. The primary responsibility of this individual is to assist the Clinical Research Coordinator in conducting clinical trials. The Research Assistant is responsible for the following: Assisting in identifying and recruiting potential study candidates Requesting and reviewing medical records Preparing for study visits Maintaining laboratory and study supply inventory Collecting and recording vital signs and medication changes Performing ECGs Collecting, processing, storing, and shipping clinical specimens Scheduling study patients for follow-up Entering data into an Electronic Data Capture portal
