Job Description
Whitney Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable Certified Medication Aide to join our clinical team. This role is designed for a professional who values a stable environment and a straightforward commute to our 88-bed facility. We focus on clinical consistency and ensuring our residents receive their medications accurately and on time. Pay, Schedule & Benefits Pay Rate:
$20/hrShift:
2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday Benefits (Full-Time): Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 401(k) with Company Match, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays. Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications and limited items to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Verify resident identity before administration and document all medications in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR). Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or changes in condition and report them immediately to the Charge Nurse. Maintain a clean and organized medication cart, ensuring all supplies are stocked and medications are secured. Assist with resident care and activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed when medication rounds are complete. Must hold a current, valid Texas Medication Aide Permit.CNA Status:
Must be a Certified Nurse Aide in good standing with the State of Texas.Background Check:
Must pass a criminal background check (legal requirement for SNFs).Drug Test:
