Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) this school year. This opportunity offers the chance to help children achieve their communication goals, collaborate with passionate educators, and expand your clinical skills in a welcoming educational setting.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Current, active SLP license for the state Prior experience providing speech therapy in a school environment preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and goal setting Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals Deliver direct therapy services to students ranging from mild to complex communication challenges Track progress, maintain accurate records, and update goals as needed Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of strategies in the classroom and at home Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for speech and language instruction Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements in school-based speech pathology Bring your expertise and compassion to a supportive school environment, where you'll foster student success and enhance your clinical skills.
