At CAD Enterprises, we are a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer committed to delivering high-quality products to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced CMM Programmer with a strong background in Zeiss CMMs and proficiency in Calypso software to join our quality control team.
Position Overview :
As a CMM Programmer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of our products. You will be responsible for programming and operating Zeiss CMMs using Calypso software to perform quality inspections and maintain the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and execute CMM programs using Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software to perform dimensional inspections of parts and assemblies. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure parts are within tolerance. Perform routine and ad-hoc inspections to verify product conformance to specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve programming or measurement issues with CMM equipment. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to continuously improve the inspection process and reduce defects. Maintain accurate records of inspection results and generate reports. Ensure compliance with company quality standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience programming and operating Zeiss CMMs, specifically with Calypso software. Strong understanding of CMM programming, quality inspection principles, and measurement techniques. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Experience with dimensional analysis and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with CMM equipment and software. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred :
Certification in Quality or CMM programming (e.g., Zeiss Calypso or equivalent). Experience with other CMM platforms or programming software is a plus.
