Rotating Shift Description:

​ ​ Delivers nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and is accountable for patient care administered during the shift . Provides patient care to patients including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. ​ Essential Key J ob Responsibilities ​ ​ Performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Cares for patients from infant to geriatric based on the scope of the unit. ​ Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up and maintenance. ​ Must be able to visibly assess patient's safety needs. Always works with safety as their first priority. ​ Works rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. May be required to float to other areas if needed. Takes call as defined by hospital policy. ​ Assists with unit cleaning and outdated product removal. ​ Passes food trays and assists patients who need help with feeding and tray set up. ​ Transports patients using the wheelchair or gurney. ​ Keeps patient rooms stocked with supplies. ​ Uses

rule and makes consumer experience a priority. ​ Assists other staff as requested and continually looks for opportunities to help co-workers in the care of patients. ​ Other duties as assigned by management. ​ Required Education - Staff Positions High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Completion of a 75-hour nurse aide certification program or successful completion of one quarter of nursing fundamentals coursework.

Minimum age requirement:

18 years. Required Licensure and Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS): Must be completed within three (3) months of hire.

Accepted certification:

American Heart Association - Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers .

Mandatory Reporter Training:

Must be completed within three (3) months of hire.
