CNC Field Service Technician

Overview:

As part of our Service Team, the Waterjet Field Service Technician provides on-location service and support to our existing customer base. we are seeking a motivated individual at our Tallmadge Location. By providing timely, quality service, including the execution of warranty repairs, maintenance, and installation of our products, this position plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers experience reliability and superior customer service. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience performing repair and maintenance to equipment, preferably in a similar position or industry. Prior Military experience is considered a plus. Duties and Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: On-site installations and service calls of CNC Waterjet Machines (domestic and international locations). Planning and preparation of all technical visits. Assist with assembly of machines at WARDJet facility as required. Accurately complete Service Reports summarizing the progress of service/installation visits. Complete time logs for all on-site customer visits, submit information on-time. Calibrate and setup new machines as well as machines in the field Train customer operators on operation of Waterjet Machine Maintain a clean work environment on-site and at WARDJet. Represent WARDJet professionally in all respects. Other duties as assigned

Other Requirements:

Regular attendance is required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to operate a rented vehicle Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Able to sit or stand for long periods. Able to use the computer for long periods. Sufficient mobility to perform job successfully Comply with all company safety rules and regulations Able and willing to work overtime with little to no forewarning Able to run an overhead crane and operate a forklift. Maintain a valid passport. Be able to travel domestically and internationally. Approximately 75% of the job will be travel

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Minimum of an Associate degree, technical school, or equivalent experience preferred Experience with CNC Machinery Experience with CAD Based design software Strong mechanical skills Excellent customer service skills Basic electrical, plumbing, and fabrication skills Excellent computer hardware and software knowledge Ability to read and follow drawings accurately Self-motivated and focused on the job at hand Strong training skills Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail and desire for quality Able to think logically and troubleshoot problems Ability to follow directions and complete tasks Excellent organizational and time management skills Dependable and Trustworthy Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through to successful completion. Willing to travel up to 75% of the time
