CNC Laser Programmer

Job description Green Machine is looking for a CNC Laser Programmer to join our growing team in Whitney Point, NY! We design and fabricate recycling components in-house to be installed in sortation systems throughout the US. From sortation screens and conveyors, to optical and robotic sorters we utilize the latest technologies for our customers. Green Machine is looking for someone local to our Whitney Point, NY factory with SigmaNest experience to program our CNC laser cutter, and accurately manufacture sheet metal parts, on time, every time. Job Responsibilities:

Program and maintain current file revisions of all parts Create, document and back-up all programs Review specifications to determine setup procedure machine sequence and dimensions are accurate Reverse engineer parts for manufacturing Prepare detailed/standardized work instructions and setup sheets Assure quality and production requirements are met Work with machinist to solve programming problems Manufacture parts in the most cost-effective manner

Job Requirements:

1 year of CNC programming preferred SigmaNest CAD/CAM experience a plus Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production and interpretation of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models specifically for sheet metal manufacturing Detail oriented Works well alone and with a team

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
