CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

SWA is looking for a CNC Machinist 2nd shift in Moundridge, KS!

Full-Time Pay:

$20.00-$27.00/hr (Based off experience)

Shift:

2nd Shift with 10% shift differential pay

Experience operating manual and/or CNC machinery Ability to read and understand blueprints, job orders, bills of material, setup sheets, and work instructions Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals Able to use a wide variety of hand tools Ability to follow oral and written instructions Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to change assignments frequently based on production needs Must be reliable, punctual, and able to complete tasks on time Must follow safety and security procedures while using equipment and materials properly Must supply own hand tools

Duty Requirements:

Operate manual and/or CNC machinery to produce precision metal parts according to blueprint or job order specifications Follow prints and job orders for product dimensions, tolerances, tooling instructions, fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut Determine proper sequence of machine operations with supervision Plan jobs and lay out dimensions on parts according to prints Set up and operate machinery to cut, shape, or form parts to specifications Ensure workpieces are properly lubricated and cooled throughout machine operation Add attachments, align parts, secure fixtures, and replace broken or dull tooling as needed Use hoists, cranes, or personal strength to lift workpieces to machines Measure finished parts with precision measuring tools to ensure they meet order specifications Ensure conformity, accuracy, and quality of finished work Provide quality products to internal and external customers Clean machines, tooling, and parts as needed Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines and tooling Follow all safety rules and regulations to prevent on-the-job injuries Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move throughout the shift Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials, parts, tools, and equipment as required Ability to use hoists, cranes, and other lifting equipment when handling workpieces Ability to work around machinery, moving equipment, noise, metal materials, and production environments Must use required PPE and safety equipment when performing duties Extended hours may be required when necessary to meet production goals or deadlines

Pay:

$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
