CNC Machinists (Setup & Operators) - Aerospace & Medical (Hartford County)We are currently building a talent pipeline for several premier manufacturing partners across Hartford County (East Hartford, Windsor, Enfield, and Farmington). CNC Setup Machinists, Level I-III Operators, and Swiss Machinists.
Shifts:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Weekend shifts available.
Pay:
$24-$42/hr (highly dependent on setup capability and multi-axis experience).
Industries:
High-growth Aerospace (AS9100) and Medical Device (ISO 13485) sectors.
Core Skills We Are Looking For:
Ability to perform independent setups and tool changes. Proficiency with Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak controllers. Blueprint reading skills and familiarity with GD&T. No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Independently perform full setups and changeovers on multi-axis CNC machines, including selecting proper tooling, installing fixtures, and establishing work offsets.

Read and analyze complex aerospace/medical grade blueprints using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure precise manufacturing.

Monitor CNC controllers to "prove out" new programs, making manual edits to feeds, speeds, and offsets to ensure part accuracy and prevent tool wear.

Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.) to hold extremely tight tolerances-often down to ±.0001.Ensure full compliance with AS9100 or
ISO 9001
standards by accurately maintaining production "travelers," material traceability logs, and quality reports.
