Job Description The CNC Machinist sets up and operates CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts according to blueprint specifications. This role includes performing machine setups and changeovers, selecting appropriate tooling, and adjusting speeds and feeds to meet production requirements. The machinist inspects parts throughout the process to ensure they meet quality standards and maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area. The standard schedule is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts that meet specified dimensions and tolerances. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings, including GD&T, to understand dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements. Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds based on material type, part geometry, and production requirements. Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Complete machine setups and teardowns for job changes in a job shop environment with high-mix, low-volume work. Monitor machine performance, make adjustments as needed, and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues to maintain part quality. Operate related equipment such as drills, presses, shears, mills, and lathes as needed to support machining operations. Maintain CNC machines and related equipment by performing basic preventive maintenance and reporting issues promptly. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards at all times. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to support efficient and safe production. Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production goals and resolve machining or quality challenges. Work overtime when required to support customer demand and production schedules. The environment is a moderate to heavy industrial setting with active machinery, typical manufacturing noise levels, and some lifting requirements. Team-based production is central to the operation, with frequent collaboration between machinists and leadership. There is a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency, and work is performed on a day shift schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of West Middlesex, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $79040.00/yr.
