! Job Description The Maintenance Technician installs, maintains, and repairs CNC and manual machining centers while supporting general facility maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role diagnoses and resolves mechanical and electrical issues, performs preventative maintenance, and ensures that production equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. The technician interprets machine manuals, schematics, and blueprints and works both independently and collaboratively with production teams to minimize equipment downtime. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC and manual machining equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility systems to reduce unplanned downtime. Respond to and complete emergency repairs on equipment and facility systems in a timely and safe manner. Read and interpret machine manuals, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to diagnose and resolve issues. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to support maintenance, alignment, and quality checks. Operate shop equipment including cranes, grinders, and hand tools to perform maintenance and repair tasks. Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic issues before they lead to failures. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including three-phase power and basic PLC-related issues, to restore equipment operation. Maintain safe working conditions by following all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used to support equipment history and reliability planning. Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to manufacturing operations. Work independently to manage daily tasks and priorities while communicating effectively with supervisors and team members. Support facility maintenance needs, including general repairs and upkeep of the industrial machine shop environment. Why Work Here?
