$22•26 per hour Job Overview A reputable manufacturing company in LaVergne, TN is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for their overnight shift. In this role, you will operate and maintain 3•and 4-axis periphery grinding machines to produce precision inserts, ensuring all products meet blueprint specifications, production targets, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate multiple CNC periphery grinding machines, including Dom, Wendt, Combi, Leo, and Penta models. Properly orient inserts before grinding; efficiently and safely load/unload inserts across multiple machines. Measure and gauge inserts accurately, verify dimensions, and inspect surface and edge quality. Record inspection results and keep thorough production documentation. Place finished and in-process inserts into designated racks. Maintain a strong commitment to safety, adhering to all policies and PPE requirements. Communicate any safety, quality, or production issues promptly with supervisors and team members. Accurately record both scrap and conforming products and assist with continuous improvement initiatives. Achieve daily production targets and contribute to a reliable production environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Prior CNC grinding experience required. Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills are required. Work Environment Clean, temperature-controlled setting equipped with dust collection systems.

Required PPE:

safety glasses with side shields, safety shoes, and cut-resistant gloves when necessary. Physical Demands Ability to stand for up to eight hours per shift with regular breaks. Frequent walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 33 pounds. Problem Solving & Collaboration Execute production orders to meet strict deadlines, escalating delays or issues as necessary. Inspect and adjust tooling to maintain consistent process standards. Collaborate with technical staff for complex problems and seek supervisor guidance as needed. Why Apply?
