• Manufacturing facility, with 40 years of experience, specializing in the orthopedic, medical device, commercial, military, government, and aerospace markets.

Expertise in high quality manufacturing in both metals and plastics from prototypes to production, including complete assemblies.

ISO 13485-2016, Gov't Contracted, FDA Registered and we are Veteran Owned. EOE. PMMI, Precision Metal Machining, Inc. is a first class 34,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Carlstadt, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
• Read/interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories
• Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functioning and to make necessary adjustments
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC machines
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and measuring instruments
• Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Experience with programming CNC machines is a plus

Skills:

• Proficiency in CNC programming and operation
• Knowledge of laser cutting processes
• Ability to use hand tools effectively
• Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations
• Experience with milling machines
• Understanding of machining processes and techniques
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Forklift operation for material handling
