The Role:
We are looking for an experienced CNC professional who is passionate about machining, programming, and producing high-quality products with exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machinery used in the production of cue components and specialty parts. This position requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, tooling, machine setup, and quality control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Program and operate CNC machines including mills, lathes, routers, and specialty equipment. Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements. Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and machine settings for optimal performance. Set up machines and conduct test runs to verify program accuracy and part quality. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to improve efficiency and precision. Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure specifications are met. Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with production and design teams to improve manufacturing processes. Maintain equipment and ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently. Follow all workplace safety procedures and company quality standards. Assist in training machine operators and production personnel when needed. Qualifications (Not Required) Minimum of 3-5 years of CNC programming and machining experience. Experience with CAD/CAM software required. Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC machine setup. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints. Experience operating precision measurement equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently. Good communication and teamwork skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or machining education preferred.
